New commercial development is planned for Benner Pike in State College that would include fast food, and retail businesses, along with new sales and service buildings for Stuckey Automotive. Yesterday, the Centre County Commissioners reviewed plans for the two lot development which would be located between the Hilton Hotel and the county prison. Commissioners advanced a memorandum of the understanding between the township, county and developer to next week’s consent agenda for approval. This latest development is just a part in a long series of commercial development on Benner Pike that began 15 years ago.
