Pittsburgh Zoo Receives Record Donation

Officials with the Pittsburgh Zoo say they’ve received the largest donation the zoo has ever received.  They say the ten-million dollar gift came from an anonymous donor and will go toward construction of a giraffe barn and an immersive Indonesian animal habitat.  The giraffe barn will feature a catwalk that will allow visitors to get up close to giraffes.  The Indonesian habitat will house Malaysian tapirs and orangutans.
