With folks gearing up for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, Pennsylvania State Police are also getting ready. The department is announcing details of its Independence Day Enforcement Period which will run from 12:01 a.m. Thursday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Troopers will be focusing on motorists who exhibit dangerous behaviors such as speeding, child seat infractions and driving while under the influence.
