Former Senator Bob Menendez has been transferred to a minimum security prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. New Jersey’s former senior senator began serving his prison term June 17th. The former chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is sentenced to eleven years behind bars for taking gold bars, cash and a Mercedes from Egypt and from New Jersey businessmen in exchange for his clout.
