A 31-year-old Altoona man was arraigned yesterday and is currently behind bars after he allegedly furnished alcohol and marijuana to a pair of minors and then allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl. Arrested was Johnathan Sprankle who is facing numerous counts including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age. Sprankle was arrested following a months-long investigation that began last November. Unable to post $500,000 bail, Sprankle was sent to the Blair County Prison. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 23rd.
