The death of a Tyrone woman whose body was recovered from the Little Juniata River last month has been ruled an accidental drowning. According to the Blair County Coroner’s Office, 63-year-old Nancy Weatherly was pronounced dead at the scene after her body was recovered near Plummers Hollow Road and Birmingham Pike in Tyrone on June 8th. Her body was pulled from the water after Tyrone Borough Police received a report from a man who witnessed a female fall into the river.
