Death Ruled Accidental Drowning

The death of a Tyrone woman whose body was recovered from the Little Juniata River last month has been ruled an accidental drowning.  According to the Blair County Coroner’s Office, 63-year-old Nancy Weatherly was pronounced dead at the scene after her body was recovered near Plummers Hollow Road and Birmingham Pike in Tyrone on June 8^th.  Her body was pulled from the water after Tyrone Borough Police received a report from a man who witnessed a female fall into the river.
