A foster parent was accused yesterday of raping a child in the State College area over a two year period. Arrested was 31-year-old Tyler Fuller of Somerset County. He is facing felony charges of child rape, and other related counts. According to State College Police, a teen told authorities earlier this year that Fuller allegedly raped her for the first time a day before her 13th birthday. Reportedly, the alleged assaults occurred from July 2021 until August of 2023. Police report that emails between the two included discussions on Fuller buying her an engagement ring, getting married, and avoiding “getting caught.” Fuller has been placed in the Centre County lockup where bail has been denied. He is to face a preliminary hearing on July 16th.
