Business leaders in Centre County along with officials at the State College Regional Airport are hoping to bring a new low-cost airline into the area that will offer flights to Orlando Florida. Reportedly, Breeze Airways is considering bringing the service to the State College area this fall. If all goes accordingly this would be the first service from State College to Florida since 2022 when Allegiant Air ended its flights to the Sunshine State. As part of the proposal to attract Breeze, the Centre County Chamber of Business and Industry along with the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau is asking community members to make a non-binding pledge that they would fly Breeze Airways.
