Three Hastings, Cambria County men are facing charges after they allegedly were not watching two children who were in their care, with one child almost having been hit by a car. The incident occurred on June 26th after state police were called to the scene of a residence located on Beaver Street. When police arrived witnesses reported seeing two children, around the age of one, playing in the middle of the street, with one having almost been hit by a vehicle. The three men charged include 29-year-old Robert Reynolds, 28-year-old Justin Bechtel, and 24-year-old Trenton Imler. The three have been charged with endangering the welfare of children, and other counts, and were arraigned and released on unsecured bail. All three are to face preliminary hearings on August 12th. Police contacted CYS because of the incident and the “filthy” condition the children were reportedly found in.
