First time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending July 5th, there were more than eleven-thousand first time filings in the state. That number is down by more than 400 filings compared to the week prior. Nationally, the number of initial filings also dropped for the week.
