An Altoona man has been arrested after being accused of hitting his neighbor with a crowbar. Charged with aggravated assault with extreme indifference, and other related counts was 42-year-old Donald Coble Jr. Reportedly, Altoona Police were called to a residence on the 700 block of 5th Avenue last Wednesday afternoon regarding a dispute between neighbors. Police report the victim claimed he got into an argument with Coble, believing Coble put sugar in his vehicle’s gas tank. The victim reportedly told authorities Coble left, but came back with a crowbar and allegedly struck him over the head. Coble was arraigned on Saturday morning and placed in the Blair County Prison where bail has been set at $50,000. His preliminary hearing is slated for July 23rd.
