A Maryland woman is in the Bedford County Prison after she allegedly told her counselor that she molested a newborn baby two years ago. Thirty-year-old Candace Martin of Brunswick was arraigned yesterday in Bedford County on felony counts that included endangering the welfare of children, and unlawful contact with a minor. Reportedly, last August, state police in Chambersburg were notified by ChildLine that Martin told her counselor she inappropriately touched a newborn under the child’s clothing, while she was watching the baby for the parents. Martin’s preliminary hearing is slated for July 23rd.
