Rest Area On I-70 To Close For Repairs

PennDOT is informing motorists that a rest area on the westbound side of Interstate 70 in Wafordsburg, Fulton County, will be closed for repairs beginning next Monday, July 21^st.   The closure is for a new water treatment system to be installed.  The rest area is expected to re-open on Sunday, August 24^th.  The rest area  is actively used by thousands of motorists traveling south, many of whom stop to walk their dogs.
