The Cambria County Humane Society is to build a new shelter. Reportedly, the shelter has acquired 12 acres of land in Richland Township, thanks to an anonymous donor. Reportedly, the new shelter will be able to take in double the number of animals it currently houses. It’s hoped that funding for the project will come from both public support and grants.
