A 37-year-old Huntingdon County woman is behind bars for allegedly being part of a criminal organization that sold methamphetamine into Centre, Blair, and Huntingdon Counties. Arrested was Joanne Shaw who has been charged with conspiracy to commit corrupt organizations, and possession with intent to deliver. The charges came about after a year’s long investigation that included state police, the PA Office of the Attorney General, Spring Township Police, and the Drug Task Forces in both Centre and Huntingdon Counties. Shaw was denied bail by Centre County Magisterial District Judge Kelly Gillette-Walker due to her currently being out on bail in Huntingdon County for the same charges. She is to face a preliminary hearing on July 30th.
