A 40-year-old man who allegedly attacked a number of customers at Sheetz on Chestnut Avenue last month had a number of charges bound to the court of common pleas yesterday, following his preliminary hearing. Terrell Sanders is facing felony counts that include aggravated assault, and intimidating a witness among other related charges. In the early morning hours of June 28th, Altoona Police were dispatched to Sheetz regarding a man who was trying to assault customers. Sanders was eventually detained for public drunkenness, and reportedly when searched, two bags of a “white powdery substance” were found in his possession. Sanders remains in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $200,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 29th.
