A missing 86-year-old Portage woman was found safe yesterday after she wandered away from an old farm property, Monday afternoon, in Munster Township. Hilda Sossong was found by her son, Gerard, sitting on a log. She was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown to be evaluated for any injuries, however when she was found she was reported to be well and coherent. For two days hundreds of volunteers were searching for the woman after she was reported missing. The family has expressed joy and thankfulness for those who helped in the search.
