Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the July 20 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!
We previewed the upcoming 5th annual Mass N Tha Grass Music & Arts Festival on our latest program, as we welcomed the event’s organizer, Sascha Frost, into the studio. Sascha filled us in on all the details about this year’s Mass N Tha Grass, which takes place August 8-10 at the Sinking Valley Fairgrounds between Tyrone and Altoona. We heard songs from some of the many bands and performers taking part in this year’s event, plus debuted new songs from Little Jimmy Melonballer, Nail Bite, Toy the Band, Grimm and the Reapers and Open Ends! We also updated “Local Music News” and pulled a “Local Music Flashback” from the archive. (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on “The Professor’s Classroom,” and then scroll down to “Homegrown Rocker Podcast” and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 072025.)
