Homegrown Rocker Playlist/Recap 8/3/25 (Dave Mayersky/Upstage Music Fest)

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the August 3 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

We spoke via phone this week with Dave Mayersky, the organizer of the 10th annual “Upstage Music Fest,” which takes place August 7-9 at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds! Dave filled us in on all the details about this year’s Fest; he broke down all three days and told us the entertainers for each, as well as other details such as camping, ticket packages and more. And listeners were told how to enter to win two packs of tickets to attend the “Upstage Music Fest” all three days! We also updated “Local Music News,” dug a 2003 song from Altoona’s No Dice from the archive for this week’s “Local Music Flashback,” and spotlighted Baltimore’s Paperback Tragedy, Washington, D.C.’s The Skluttz and Elizabeth, New Jersey’s E-Town Concrete as we stepped “Across State Lines!” Plus we debuted new songs from Gonto and A Starlite Gray, and reviewed Post Traumatik’s “Saint Traumatik” album in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on “The Professor’s Classroom,” and then scroll down to “Homegrown Rocker Podcast” and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 080325.)
