A 39-year-old Altoona man is reportedly taking a plea deal in Blair County Court after he was accused of sexually assaulting multiple girls over several years in both Altoona and Claysburg. Albert Kuklo lll was arrested last April in Louisiana where he fled, after the charges were filed in Blair County. Recently, Kuklo pled guilty to 80 charges in exchange for a 17-40 year prison sentence. Kuklo’s case ends a lengthy police investigation that began in September of 2022 when a caller told authorities that a 12-year-old girl accused Kuklo of sexually assaulting her beginning when she was five years old. During the investigation, authorities learned of another victim. Kuklo’s sentence will be followed by 10 years supervision, and 40 years’ probation.
