The young women of Johnstown’s West Suburban team won the Little League Softball World Series yesterday with a 1-0 victory over an Indiana team. The team brings to Pennsylvania its first title since 1978. Prior to yesterday’s game, Penn State’s softball team sent a video message to West Suburban, wishing them well. The game was played in Greenville, North Carolina.
