A Mineral Point, Cambria County man has been jailed after he reportedly admitted to setting fire to a home in East Taylor Township, early Monday morning. Arrested was 39-year-old Michael Beury Jr., who allegedly confessed to starting the fire after a domestic dispute. The home was completely destroyed by the fire. Beury has been charged with felony arson, and other related counts. He is currently in the Cambria County Prison where bail has been set at $85,000. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 25th.
