Many in the northeast, including here in Pennsylvania, saw a strange spiral shaped light in the heavens on Tuesday night thinking it may have been a UFO. Experts believe the spiral light was likely caused by the launch of either the Ariane 6 rocket from French Guiana, or the Vulcan rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The spiral light occurs when the reflection from sunlight interacts with the frozen plume of fuel from the exhaust rockets.
