State Troopers are blending into work zones in Centre County. Penn-DOT says it is implementing Operation Yellow Jacket in District Two, which includes Centre and Clinton Counties. During the operation, troopers sitting in construction vehicles wearing hard hats and vests will alert other troopers in marked patrol units of any traffic violations. There were over 12-hundred crashes in Pennsylvania work zones last year, resulting in 785 injuries and 22 deaths.
