First time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending August 9th, there were more than 96-hundred first time filings in the state. That number is down by more than 250 filings compared to the week prior. Nationally, the number of initial filings declined for the week.
