A Jefferson County woman is facing over 2,000 sexual abuse charges. According to the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department, 25-year-old Nicole McQuade from Sykesville is now facing thousands of charges, after a childline referral was made to police. Last month, officers received a report to investigate McQuade after a woman reported to a therapist that McQuade began abusing her when she was 15. Reportedly McQuade, who was 21 at the time, moved into the Punxsutawney home of the teen. The child told authorities she was physically, mentally and sexually assaulted by McQuade for two years, three to four times a week. There are reports the teen tried to tell family members what was going on, but they did not believe her. The victim also told authorities that McQuade threatened to kill her if she told anyone what was happening. Recently police spoke to McQuade and she allegedly admitted to everything. McQuade is facing charges that include indecent assault without consent, rape forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and other related crimes. She has been placed in the Jefferson County Prison where bail has been set at $80,000.
