Somerset County was ranked among the top three counties in the state to raise a family in. That’s according to the financial website SmartAssest, which ranked each of the state’s 67 counties in the areas of housing equity, student academic performance, community and recreation centers, and more, to determine which counties are the best for raising a family in. The top two ranking counties were Union and Montour, with Somerset coming in at third.
