The Little League World Series is nearing its conclusion in Williamsport. Connecticut advanced to the US title game with a 7-3 win over Nevada. South Carolina scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to eliminate South Dakota from the tournament. Chinese Taipei took down Venezuela also by a score of 7-3 to reach the international bracket championship. Aruba picked up a 3-0 win over Japan to stay alive in the competition. The event continues with two more elimination games today. Nevada and South Carolina will square off on the US side of things, while Venezuela and Aruba battle in the international bracket. The winners will advance to the U.S. and International championships.
