Officials with the Hershey Company have announced they’re going to remove synthetic dyes from their candies and snacks by the end of next year. The company says it’s making the move due to changing customer preferences and state laws. The FDA has asked food companies to begin phasing out synthetic dyes as part of the Trump Administration’s fight against processed foods. Hershey officials say most of their products have no added dyes but they’re going to make changes to the foods that do.
