A suspect who was accused of a targeted attack at the State College High School earlier this year pled guilty to one felony terroristic threat charge. Twenty-year-old Braeden Phillips appeared in court yesterday. Phillips was arrested in April after he reportedly conspired to carry out a shooting plot at the school, inspired by the Columbine School massacre. Based on a plea deal, prosecutors are expected to drop the two most serious charges which included conspiracy to commit murder, and illegal firearms possession. Phillips will be under a five year supervision and undergo a mental health evaluation. His sentencing date is scheduled for September 23rd, where he could be eligible for parole.
