Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro continues to urge lawmakers to come together and finalize the state budget which is already two months overdue. Reportedly, the budget impasse is affecting the state’s 67 counties, with missed payments impacting schools, additional transit funding, and other crucial services. Earlier this week, Shapiro said he was doing everything he can, to bring Senate Republicans and House Democrats together to pass a package that, in his words, “invests in the good of Pennsylvania.”
