Dozens of cats and three dogs have been rescued from a home in Paint Township, in Somerset County. The owner, who reportedly had been hoarding animals for years, was evicted on Tuesday and left them behind. Local humane groups have stepped up to help the animals. When state police responded to the scene they found the house trailer in deplorable condition, and discovered several dead cats inside. As of now no charges have been filed, but an investigation by state police continues.
