A Penn State student is accused of attacking other students based on their race and sex. Police say 27-year-old David Park lunged at a Black male student near the Willard Building in July, then tried to assault a white female student on a CATA bus a month later. Park reportedly admitted to officers he committed the assaults out of a hatred of Black males, and “lustful motivations” toward white females. He faces several charges including aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation. He is currently in the Centre County Prison.
