The Clearfield Regional Police Department’s union has issued a vote of “no confidence” against Police Chief Vincent McGinnis, citing low morale, an unsafe staffing environment, and excessive overtime. The union alleges the chief created a hostile workplace by failing to fill vacancies and making disparaging remarks about officers. Chief McGinnis reportedly stated the matter will be handled by the committee, while Lawrence Township supervisors declined comment.
