A teacher in Blair County, and a school board member in Indiana County are facing back lash for posting separate inflammatory media comments about the shooting death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk. One of those is a Blair County teacher at Central High School in Martinsburg. The teacher has not been officially identified, but the comment allegedly appears to condone the actions behind Kirk’s death. In a prepared statement, the Spring Cove School District said they were aware of the post, but were unable to comment on a personnel matter. Reportedly, an internal investigation into the teacher’s comment is underway. The other involves an Indiana County school board member with the Homer-Central School District. The board member has not been identified. Reportedly, school officials are investigating that post as well.
