A 39-year-old Hopewell Borough man is facing felony charges including aggravated assault, and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer, after an incident on Sunday. According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, 39-year-old Joseph Black allegedly became aggressive and threatened troopers while they were attempting to serve a warrant, later lunging at and trying to disarm a trooper, who sustained minor injuries. Black has been jailed on numerous charges including felonies for aggravated assault and disarming a law enforcement officer. He is in the Bedford County Prison. Bail has been set at $500,000.
