Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman is criticizing members of his own party who have labeled President Trump and his supporters as Hitler and Nazi’s. This, in response to the shooting death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Fetterman condemned anyone who compared Trump to Hitler and said his party, “must turn the temperature down.” Kirk’s death has started a nationwide conversation in regards to political rhetoric. Many on the right have accused Democratic leaders and the media for fueling violence by constantly comparing Trump to Adolph Hitler.
