Blair Co., Road Named After Late State Lawmaker

A stretch of Route 164 in Martinsburg, has been renamed the Jerry A. Stern Memorial Highway to honor the late State Representative.  The dedication ceremony was held yesterday where Rep. Stern’s family,and other lawmakers spoke about his life of community service.  The designated portion of the road, which passes by Stern’s farm, runs between Frederick and Agway Roads.
