A Bedford County jury found Duncansville resident, 45-year-old Heather Ann Dibert, guilty of hiring a man to burn down her estranged wife’s home. Following four days of testimony, and over an hour of deliberation, Dibert was convicted yesterday of conspiracy to commit aggravated arson, and criminal solicitation of first-degree murder, regarding the Bedford County arson case. The verdict also found Dibert guilty of related Blair County charges, including unlawful restraint, simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct that occurred when the two women lived together in East Freedom. She was acquitted on a separate charge of simple assault. President Judge Travis Livengood scheduled sentencing for December 12th, and revoked Dibert’s $1 million bail.
