A wildfire near Benezette, Pa., in Elk County has been contained and extinguished thanks to local fire crews, along with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and the state game commission. The fire was moving along Winslow Hill toward a very popular tourist spot where many come to view elk. Fire crews are still mitigating hot spots and monitoring the area.
