State officials are issuing a few friendly reminders as the fall season gets underway. The warnings highlight seasonal hazards and provide tips for residents. PEMA is reminding everyone to keep candles away from anything flammable and make sure they’re out before you leave the room. Officials say driving and walking can also become treacherous with wet leaves, so exercise some caution in those conditions as well.
