Roundabout Being Considered On Busy Clearfield County Road

PennDOT is considering implementing a roundabout at the intersection of Beaver Drive and Division Street in DuBois, Clearfield County, as part of a statewide initiative to increase roundabouts for improved traffic flow and safety.  The location was selected due to its high traffic volume and existing stop signs.  The DuBois-Sandy Board has approved further study of the proposal, indicating they back this plan.  By eliminating T-bone crashes, roundabouts can reduce injury-related collisions by more than 50%.
