Four Displaced After Apartment Building Fire In Altoona

A fire at a 12th Street apartment building Friday night resulted in one minor injury and displaced four residents,  and that’s according to the Altoona Fire Department.  Firefighters were called to the 600 block of 12th Street at approximately 10:20 p.m., where they found the building heavily involved in flames.  One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.  The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced occupants.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by a fire inspector.
