Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is reaffirming his party affiliation after sharing that he has no plans on switching parties. During an interview, the Democratic senator announced, “No, I’m not going to switch” when asked about trading in parties but noted that he doesn’t agree with Democrats who try to villainize President Trump and his supporters as “Nazis or fascists.” While Fetterman appears to be secure in his stance, he did add that he’s more drawn to “independent thinking and views,” regardless of whether “it’s the Republican or the Democratic voice.” Fetterman has steadfastly declined entreaties to leave the Democratic Party.
