A 14-year-old Carrolltown teen, Judah Quinn Courtney, has been charged as an adult with criminal homicide in connection with the deaths of his mother and a family friend. Courtney was arraigned yesterday on two felony counts of criminal homicide, four felony counts of aggravated assault, and other charges. He has been placed in the Cambria County Prison were bail has been denied. The teen is accused of killing his mother, 32-year-old Olivia Courtney, and 38-year-old Ashley Cook. The two were reportedly stabbed to death in their Flick Avenue home in Carrolltown. Autopsies on the two women are expected to be done today. Motive behind the killings is unknown at his time. An active investigation is underway.
