Based on a criminal complaint, a former substitute teacher who works within Cambria County, has been charged with sending inappropriate messages to a student. Seventy-one-year-old Loren Yannitto of Smithmill, Clearfield County, faces corruption of minors charges for allegedly sending those messages to a student on Facebook. A ChildLine tip received by Pennsylvania State Police led to the charges, after which troopers learned that Yannitto had reportedly been sending inappropriate messages to the 17-year-old student since her tenth-grade year. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 2nd.
