Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has filed a new appeal to his child sex abuse conviction in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The appeal, which is nearly 400 pages long, includes allegations of prosecutorial misconduct, claiming that prosecutors “coached” two of Sandusky’s accusers to fabricate stories of abuse. The filing also references a medical condition Sandusky argues may have limited his physical activity. Sandusky was convicted in 2012 on 45 counts of child sexual abuse, and is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence. He is seeking a new evidentiary hearing.
