An investigation is underway into a deadly officer-involved shooting in Indiana County. State Police were dispatched to a Grant Township neighborhood late Sunday afternoon with reports of people fighting. At the scene, police learned that a neighbor had opened fire on adults and children before retreating into his home. That man-34-year-old Jonathan James Pearce Jr-later set fire to his residence and went to the roof of the home where he began shooting at officers- leading them to return fire. Pearce was hit and died. No other injuries were reported.
