wrta-logo-sm

A federal district court judge in Johnstown, has authorized former Northern Cambria Borough police chief Derek Stitt to move forward with a substantial part of his civil rights lawsuit. The suit names Mayor Lisa Tomallo Mays, and the Borough Council as defendants, alleging they “knowingly permitted unprofessional behaviors by Mays and others” that created a hostile workplace and forced his resignation.  Judge Stephanie Haines’ ruling, denied the borough officials’ motion to have the case dismissed.
