One woman has died following a house fire that broke out last evening in Shirley Township, Huntingdon County. Emergency crews were dispatched to a home on Croghan Pike at approximately 6:15 p.m. and observed heavy smoke and flames. According to the Mount Union Fire Chief, the residence is typically home to seven people, but officials have offered conflicting accounts regarding how many were present during the incident. An investigation is underway.
